For many years now, on a Thursday evening near to Bonfire Night, we have held a Bonfire & Fireworks Evening. It’s down the back of the Church. The ground is often a bit damp and soft so waterproof footwear is essential, expect to get muddy.

We light the bonfire and then when it’s burnt down enough we let off a small firework display. The Church buys some but we also encourage people that come to contribute one large firework per family if they want to. These are handed in as people arrive and are added to the display. Some people bring sparklers and if you do please be careful using them with people around. We ask that all children be accompanied.

We then listen to a short Christian talk, hopefully shared in a thought-provoking and interesting way.

And then we go back up to the Church Car Park for refreshments.
